The Shuttle apparently runs every 10 minutes! Incredible they don't even know the frequency of their own services. The timetable displays the service as running every two hours... I Think it's meant to say 'Upto Every 10 Minutes' on the Shuttle, what it does M-Fri morning peak from Keighley unless they've just accidently leaked they intend to restore the previous frequency. They have rebranded the shuttle buses to say "every 15 minutes" instead of every 10, so odd to go back to it on the website/app.

Check these journey suggestions out from Tadcaster to Leeds or York. I noticed their is a brief "powered by Google" message at the top of the journey planner when you open it. So put Tadcaster to York Bus in Google and got the same crazy results.

Check these journey suggestions out from Tadcaster to Leeds or York. It's almost as if it has access to all public transport times except Transdev's.

Harrogate to Skipton works well using Transdev/Connexions, First and Transdev services in a pretty direct routing compared to the old apps Transdev only route via Greengates or Leeds and Keighley. Seems that Coastliner is missing from Googles database and hence not driving the app correctly,

And when you google - Harrogate Bus, as most people are used to doing, and which used to take you to the website, it says "Sorry we can't find this page"
It just looks as if they have gone bust.

It looks like there's a problem with the data from Transdev Coastliner are providing. Bustimes only has tints from 8th April and Google didn't seem to know about it.
I wonder if they deleted the current times when they added the new ones.
The same seems to be true of the 72 to Grassington Monday to Saturday. Google can only find times from Keighley to Grassington via Ilkley and the 74 today, but is fine to use the 72 tomorrow.

More that Google hasn't trawled the new web sites yet www.transdevbus.co.uk/the-harrogate-bus-company/ rather than www.transdevbus.co.uk/harrogate/If you put in harrogatebus.co.uk as is advertised as the web address that automatically redirects correctly. the36.co.uk takes you to the main Harrogate also rather then those on the 36.

Odd to not keep the home page at the same address as many will have it bookmarked. Last time they changed the homepage address, the old one redirected to the new one for a couple of years. The36.co.uk has done that for some time, though it look like its redirect has been updated which is odd if the main page hasn't been.

Something Mr Hornby would be all over in a flash.

I think this is down to Transdev not sorting out their Google Adwords properly, rather than Google themselves. Something Mr Hornby would be all over in a flash. It isn't down to Adwords, it's just basic bog-standard inexcusable incompetence. Any even remotely competent webmaster knows that when you are rebuilding your site, if key pages (ideally all pages, but sometimes there is a limit for how much work you can reasonably put in) move to a new URL then you set up a redirect so that anyone going to the old URL is seamlessly and invisibly taken to the new page. This means that Google etc will quickly update their indexes to use the new page, but until they do that then the old links will still work. I've been doing this – and complaining about people who don't – for 25 years, this is not anything new or complicated or niche, it's the absolute bare minimum that anyone running a website should do.

The app is currently predicting various school buses approaching my local stop. On Easter Monday.
And it hasn't transferred my tickets over.
Has anyone else had their tickets transfer yet?
I've got £80 worth that hasn't yet and my other half has more than £40 worth.

I notice that whenever Transdev promote their new app on Twitter, they turn off replies ... makes me think they're still getting a lot of flak for it 🤔

They have stated today on X and Facebook the old app is being switched off tomorrow. "More improvements to come".
