www.facebook.com/photo?fbid=692564136234968&set=a.590351103122939Today a group of drivers from Roxboro depot in Limerick have gone on an unofficial strike without giving the company or public any warning. This has seen a serious impact on many services in Limerick itself, as well as to many other places in the Irish Republic served by drivers based at Limerick, e.g. the 51 to Cork and Galway has seen several cancellations, the Tralee route has seen quite a few, services on the 55 to Waterford have been hit, so too on the 72 to Nenagh and Athlone. Rumour has it other depots could do the same, going by talk it looks like the strike is about conditions such as drivers expected to work over their hours and not being paid.
