The profile still shows him as representing Transdev going by his cover photo and username... Again, as above... no one is disputing that. They just mention. that the bio has been removed and aht there has been a change of profile picture... Do you know what th bio is? 'Companies are extremely strict as to who represents them on the internet, doesn’t seem like a good sign'. You're very wound up for 7am. Take a chill pill.

That escalated quickly! Despite the fact he still has 'transdev' in his username there's not much immediately obvious to show that he's associated with the company. No one other than an enthusiast would have the foggiest idea where his current profile picture was taken. The header photo is a montage of various photos, again not immediately obvious of a Transdev theme. There's plenty of enthusiasts that have Transdev/Stagecoach/First/etc in their usernames as well as the companies vehicles in their profile/header pictures.
The fact his bio has been completely deleted is the biggest hint that he's no longer part of the company though. There's be no need to completely erase it if he was.

Also that montage of images in the header is basically his career showreel of stuff he’s been involved in, so no reason to remove it

At a guess I'd say he'll be removed once his notice period is up and he 'officially' leaves, which going off the minor activity on Twitter could be around now.

For him to suddenly stop all activity is very indicative of HR/legal action, and is backed up by the talk within the industry of him being placed on gardening leave as well as Henri Rohard being appointed as a company director at the same time. Perhaps the new director was to replace the Finance Director who resigned less than a month before he was appointed?

Looks like the rumours were true, Coach & Bus Week have just confirmed Mr Hornby's departure from Transdev for McGills Buses up in Scotland.

Obviously some of you loved him, some of you hated him. It's certainly a big sea change for him working for the Easdale brothers. He must relish a challenge.

Given the time scale it would be unlikely he was sacked and then found such a new senior position just like that, it has been less than 2 months since he appeared to 'step back' from Transdev but you would expect it to take much longer than that to complete a recruitment process for an important position such as MD. Far more likely is that he got the job at McGills and then handed in his resignation as MD of Transdev at which point, in what would be a standard move for such a senior position moving to what could be considered a competitor on a national scale, he was placed on 'gardening leave' for the duration of his notice. It is not unusual for such senior people to leave 'suddenly' in the effect that, unless they are retiring, they have access to such wide spread and high level confidential key business information that once you know they are leaving you want to ensure they quickly have no further access to such information - the other way of doing it is to right into contracts a long period gardening leave notice so they can't move quickly to a competitor with detailed knowledge of your business.

A retiming of the 7 would go some way to gaining increased revenue; the 5 to the hour departure from Leeds results in a 5 pass the hour from Wetherby, 5 minutes behind the X70 that also follows the A661 direct to Harroagte

I think the scale of the apparent losses at Transdev Blazefield, and the consequent necessary cost savings that were reported on here from someone from the union, who attended a meeting, if true, may have led to Hornby's departure. Whether he resigned or was dismissed will probably not been known publicly.
Someone mentioned a Non-disclosure Agreement. In the realms of UK employment law, they are called a Settlement Agreement, which has to follow a set format with certain requirements, to be valid.
McGills Bus Service Ltd. also made a loss in it's latest accounts up to January 2022, although not as large as the alleged Transdev Blazefield loss. McGills don't exactly operate in affluent areas, and they have a large and increasing fleet of Yutongs. Hopefully they won't allow any Sky Class nonsense, or pointless designer spend brought there, and there won't be a repeat of that pointless, money wasting exercise at Transdev either.
