I rode on Blackburn Bus Company's Volvo B7 / Wright Number 1092 yesterday from Blackburn to Clitheroe (The Valley Line). I was very impressed at a bus which is 21 years old - no rattles, smart interior, smooth acceleration. The 'average' passenger would have no idea that this bus was of that age - the personalised number plate disguising it! Full credit to Transdev for maintaining these vehicles in all day service. So my question is ...are these the oldest batch of buses running in all day service in the UK? Please do not include school routes.

Believe it’s contract work, looked impressive, not what you expect to see when you open your hotel room curtains
