Picked up off another forum bustimes will show fare details if on a timetable page you add /fares to the URL and retrieve that URL

That's quite good, particularly the First West Yorkshire pages that allow you to search for your fare, though the charts are a tad confusing.
I noticed it doesn't work for all services. I tried it with the Preston X2 and got nothing.
I wonder why the option to view fares isn't shown on the standard user interface?

I have seen one or two operators where the Fares tab was shown as standard, I think Reliance was one.
There is a bug in the Arriva tables, where a lot of return fares max out at the all-day ticket ... but it seems like the table only shows fares where there is a specific fare for that journey and just gives a blank where passengers would get an all-day ticket.
It's interesting to see just how much short-distance passengers are being stung! eg, on The 36, a day return from Ripon to Wormald Green (4 miles/12 minutes) is the same £9 fare as from Ripon all the way to Leeds (27 miles/90 minutes).

For some reason the data gets imported to bustimes as a fare rectangle instead of a fare triangle which is the conventional way a fare chart is set out

I presume its under development - any service with lots of fare stages loses the further distance stop details and fares between them and some have noticeable gaps in fares given although some can be guessed. Transdev Harrogates 24 fare table has an obvious overcharge on it for anyone doing a return journey between Dacre and Pateley Bridge which is quoted as £9 (i.e the same for anyone travelling from/to Harrogate) but would be £8.50 by a return to Summerbridge and another onwards from there.

Aren't they missing fares where a day ticket would be cheaper?

Aren't they missing fares where a day ticket would be cheaper? A Daytripper is £10 now.
