I need to get my eyes checked, I've just seen a Streetlite and my eyes are burning

I noticed today that 2 out of 3 Tempos were in service on the service X1 Holmfirth-Lower Cumberworth-Denby Dale-Clayton West-Calder Grove-Wakefield. The Tempos were 1406-H6 EXP and 1407 H7 EXP. Does this mean that the mechanical issue has been solved and they will be in service all of the time now?

H5 EXP has been parked up out of use at Waterloo for at least 3, possibly 4 weeks now.

There was a spat on Twitter about these buses a few weeks ago. Some woman accused team Pennine of just painting the buses and not sorting out the problem with them. Team Pennine said that wasn’t true but they ignored further questions asking what they had done mechanical. Tbh so far in you might have expected Transdev to be further along with vehicle availability & relaunching services which seems to have ground to a halt. A driver I spoke with on Saturday on the D1 said they are around 8 buses short everyday.

There are lots of good people within Transdev. Unfortunately spin & a dislike to take criticism is a issue it appears at the very top in my opinion.

I believe it is a mechanical issue as it's funny how the Rosso ex Yorkshire Tiger Solos and Arriva Ex Tiger solos currently experiencing issues.

It’s just typical Transdev. Make sure it looks nice and bright. Have scones & tea at a posh hotel and a PR launch : plenty of selfie’s..Then reality catches up and the people on the ground try sort it out ! People see through it though these days.

It's not just Transdev, it is First too. What's First done wrong then? They blame everything on driver shortages, promote high priced fars and then their buses look like they have just come back from a PE Cross country Lesson with paint peeling down the side of the bus. The Vehicle 66744 once had the cussions removed on 1 pair of seats and nobody fixed it for about three months. So basically the fact that they didn't attempt to even put something as simple as 2 seats.

I've whitnessed their potential with the Doncaster Reds Buses and the Sheffield brands, as well as doing really well in Cornwall, however we are getting hugely off topic here.

Got talking to the driver who said it was the first time it has done a full day in 4 months !

1405 was out today. Got talking to the driver who said it was the first time it has done a full day in 4 months ! Both 1405 and 1406 were out only leaving 1407 as the only redundant tempo.

I don't know if anyone has noticed but when I have been at Wakefield bus station I am not seeing the destination board saying "Holmfirth Explorer". Seen it twice, it's only showing X1 Wakefield/Holmfirth. Wonder if anyone else has noticed this?

New management has been going on a massive debranding spree, it would not shock me to see this brand disappear, especially with the problematic Tempos

Glad this stupid and frankly embarrassing brand name is going, Holmfirth Explorer sounds like the sort of service a load of strange tourists would be catching rather than it being a local bus for local people between Wakefield and Holmfirth.

The buses are still branded but not the Destination boards displaying Holmfirth Explorer isnt displaying on their anymore I think, sorry if anyone got confused

Maybe go back to just a service number rather than X1 which makes it sound like an express bus that has few stops
