Thats a raft of changes and some withdrawls that'll effect certain areas.
Are First going to add any routes to make up for the withdrawls?
My nights out in Bradford will be either longer or shorter depending on the 682 time table. used to be OK at 10 past and 20 to with the 570 at 25 past, ah well.

Most of the above changes are as a result of funding withdrawal by Metro, so First won't be providing any replacement services.

Other notable changes taken from Changing Times (some of which may have already been mentioned elsewhere) include:

Stagecoach service 95 from Barnsley extended to Denby Dale and Skelmanthorpe.
Huddersfield Pink Line 306 to run alongside new 307 via Primrose Hill, together every 10 mins Monday to Friday and every 15 mins on Saturdays.
New 308 to replace daytime 312 and the 315 every 30 mins between Huddersfield, Honley and Holmfirth.
321/323/324 Green Line to be branded as the Meltham Connection, along the lines of the Holmfirth Connection, offering through ticketing on Transpennine Express services.
New M Travel 487 service introduced to replace the South Yorkshire Motors service.

From a Calderdale point of view:
Service 530 is being changed re timing points and timetable
The Huddersfield 501 and 503 services are being speeded up for the duration of the summer holidays
Services 343 and 344 are subject to route and timetable changes
The Sowerby Bridge services have a new timetable with minor changes and alterations on Sundays
Services 507 and 554 have Sunday alterations
The Ryburn Valley Taxibus is withdrawn

Why do people always complain!!
Service 20 Holmfirth to Barnsley changed on Saturday, I caught the bus and most of the passengers were moaning about it, mind you they were generally national concessionary permit holders!!
Some of the outlying areas that this service covers is amazing all the little hamlets....They have a bus service every two hours all day everyday!!
Some money must be tendered for it I guess because as I said the majority of the passengers were ENP holders so no money is being paid by them to 'use the service'.
They should be happy, they have got one I felt really sorry for the driver having to take all the hassle.
Oh dear it doesn't go to Huddersfield anymore...but its all about saving money and ustilising services, there is a frequent First service to/from Hudersfield!
By the way, I caught the 2052 service from Barnsley to Holmfirth and there was only me on from Hoylandswaine to Holmfirth!!

They have a point. When First withdrew the 309/310/311 they pointed out that the 20 runs direct Huddersfield to Holmfirth
Now there is no direct bus on the main road from Huddersfield to Holmfirth except the X10 at peak times. This seems to be a gap in the network that a smaller operator may want to have a go at filling

Something K-Line could consider doing perhaps. An hourly service would be sufficient using service number 310 and operate along the X10 route in Huddersfield.
