the S---NUG range of Royales seem to be appearing on services now that school's out.
How's 8995 WY doing? is it used much? saw it today with X14 on destination outside what used to be the shaftesbury but was obviously going onto a different route

(Quote) Saw Arriva Yorkshire West's 691 (Volvo B7TL/Plaxton President) on the 212 today. This is operated by Dewsbury Mon-Sat daytime and Heckmondwike evenings and Sundays, but almost always single deck run, even at peak times, so why a 'decker on a Sunday? (End quote)
Slight correction here: 212 Sundays (not sure about evenings, but I think it is the same) is shared by Dewsbury and Heckmondwike garages. Even hour from Dewsbury, usually a Dart trundling back and forth all day (one bus for this operation). Hecky operates the odd hour ex Dewsbury and on its return it does a 254 to Leeds and this requires, I think, three buses.

I think the only 51 plate ALX to loose it's guide wheels is 30944 which lost them at the same time as 30941 -3 (Y796-8XNW) earlier this year. The wheels were transferred to Gemini 32449-452 but then the exercise stopped so am not sure if 30945-953 will loose theirs in due course.
