Here at Transdev we're gearing up for an exciting summer where we can get back to doing all the things we enjoy – making our customers feel special and being an integral part of our surroundings.
From Sunday 30 May until the end of September, we’re offering a comprehensive range of ticket offers on our app and on our buses. This is all to encourage people back to bus with confidence whilst supporting the recovery of our economy. The range of promotions have been deliberately targeted to do just that.
To encourage a taste of bus travel for new and old customers – FREE day ticket
On 17 May as more hospitality was able to open up, we set out to support our local towns and cities by giving every customer with our app a free day ticket. Nearly 10,000 trips have been made using our free tickets in the last 8 days.
Going forward, all customers who download our free app Transdev Go and set up an account will get a free ticket - a whole day’s unlimited travel on any of our buses.
For commuters as they return to work - 10% off 28 day tickets
All of our 28 day tickets will be priced with 10% off on the Transdev Go app - helping our regular customers enjoy big savings on their monthly travel.
This is ideal for our customers who use the bus to get to work, or travel regularly with us. Compared with buying day tickets, those who use the bus more than around 12 days in every month will find a 28 ticket to be best value.
And thinking about the long term, workers can speak to their employer about joining our Commuter Club to get this 10% off deal permanently.
Supporting the return of the evening economy - £1 single fares after 7pm
The evening economy is one of the most vibrant parts of the towns and cities we serve, and we want to support our local restaurants, bars, clubs and venues as they re-open and recover alongside us.
All our single fares will be £1 after 7pm across all of our buses. Anywhere to anywhere, with no strings attached - ideal for anyone out for a night on the town in any number of fantastic places we serve.
There’s no fuss or faffing either – customers can just buy these tickets from the driver with cash or contactless.
Supporting the recovery of our cities - £2 off to Leeds, York and Manchester with CitySaver return fares
We’re knocking £2 off the price of our return fares into Leeds from York, Ripon and Harrogate, into York from Leeds, and into Manchester from Burnley, Rawtenstall, Accrington and Ramsbottom.
That’s our clean, low-emission and most comfortable buses doing the hard-work to get people out and about in our cities again.

All our ticket deals start Sunday 30 May and run until the end of September.
I hope the information here is helpful to you and that you might support us in sharing the news further, with colleagues, partners and any interested groups you may know.
If you need anything more from me or my team, as ever, please do not hesitate to ask.
Kind regards
Alex
