Is there still a flight into LBIA from Pakistan and if so, what type of aircraft is used?
Separate question: can the airport accept a Boeing 747?

LBA had regular B747 flights in the late 1980's with Wardair from Canada. Though B747's cant get very far from LBA - Wardair used to operate bia Birmingham en-route back to Canada for passengers and fuel

it was the 80s and maybe this particular airline had restrictions at MAN or maybe it was cheaper to go via Birmingham, Back to LBIA, I also remember BA doing a photo shoot for the 747 in the 80s and there was also virgin 747 that used the airport......
