2x Enviro400 MMC's in Ilkley last night around 18:40.
One parked at the X84 stop (C) completely switched off (no engine, lights, destination etc), the other at the 62 stop (B) with lights and engine on and desty set for X84 Leeds, so presumably the 18:45 departure.

First time for the recently transferred E400s from Kent to do the 147. Didnt see 1889 however I saw a glimpse of 1896. I wonder how they coped with the hills and narrow roads.

Another bridge strike. This time in the form of 35565 - On Henconner Lane of all places (For those of you who are unaware, this is on the same stretch of road as the Bramley depot) First drivers are prohibited from this side of the road due to the low bridge.
Hopefully the appropriate action is taken, as its only a matter of time before someone gets seriously injured due to drivers not paying due care and attention

Yeah, another barrack room lawyer. As a former trade union branch secretary, it used to get my back up when people publicly commented on something they knew nothing of, apart from the bridge strike. It is NOT up to you to decide whether action is needed against this driver or not, it will be up to the investigating member of the management chain and nobody else. Just as an example of a reason, perhaps the driver was a HP chap who did not realise, were they shown and signed to say they knew? It is not necessarily as clear cut as you make out, as daft as it sounds there could be any reason for them going down Henconner. Had they brought a single decker to Bramley and been given a decker to go out with. Another point worth remembering in this day and age, is that person could be a member of this forum, and reading comments like this will not help, be assured they will feel pretty foolish and are probably worrying about their employment at this moment in time without seeing this. To be fair, although I now live in Blackpool, I used to work at Halifax on the old 508, and even I knew not to turn right out of Bramley, but like I say there could be any number of reasons for the mishap. There are several web sites where photos and comments about ongoing incidents/crashes are removed by the admins, and funnily enough, one of them is the First Bus Enthusiasts group, I also run a group for ex Halifax/Tod staff and remove things straight away as per First Enthusiasts that will currently be being investigated. I am not trying to be high and mighty in any shape or form, but, unless you know the full story it is much better to keep stum.

One point though the bus was going up Hennconner Lane towards the depot. No other comment needed.

That does change it a bit, but still does not detract from my original post. Speculation on a site like this can be seen by anyone (both sides if you will !!!), and does not help anyone. It is up to First Leeds and Unite to deal with it.

People on here need to stop, step back and think about how'd they'd feel if they'd had the accident/incident because i can safely say there'd be a fair few people go mad and be upset at it.

Whatever the mitigating circumstances, the driver ain’t the first one to crash into that bridge, and certainly won’t be the last.

Spotted 795 and many other buses at St Wilfrids around 3pm. I usually see it completely full but it was almost empty.

1611 was on the 446 in Stanley at 19:10 this evening. Not showing as tracked in BusTimes since before Christmas so was a nice surprise to see it.
