Hi There is Timetableworld(dot)com. They are trying to get a timetable for every operator between 1960 and 1974. Its a useful site to look up timetables from that period. They have concentrated on non municipals so far, but know they have to do those. They are asking for anyone with paper timetables from that period to contact them with a view to lending them for scanning. If you can do that contact them directly. or if you can help with indexing the images. Not my site, but I have done some volunteer indexing. railway timetables too if thats your thing.

I've been looking at the timetable books for West Yorkshire Road Car (1966) and United (1969), very interesting.
Would anyone know why there's a conspicuous hole in the coverage around Easingwold and between Thirsk and Northallerton? The local stations on the ECML had closed by 1965 (Tollerton, others had closed earlier) yet in the index to places theres no mention of Tollerton or Sessay (service number 150 is being used for Ripon- Mickley) in either book, also Linton-on-Ouse or South Kilvington.
Reliance York- Stillington- Easingwold- Helmsley at the time isn't mentioned in either despite being very much in United's territory. Possibly also York Pullman? I love the fact you could get a bus from York to Easingwold at 2230 on service 80 though!

Now there are huge areas with scant coverage.

Did you find the WYRCC 40. from vicar lane to Stanks. direct competition with the LTC Stanks service. How frequent was LTC, the West Yorks 40 was only hourly? I know Rider York was running a 32 to Linton and a 30 to Easingwold via Tollerton back in the 90s, I assume York Pullman was running something similar in 1969 and WYRC neglected to mention them and Reliance, maybe due to competition.

Just got a Lancaster City Transport Dept timetable for 1977. I'll scan it and put on Timetable world. I know its not Yorkshire but may be of interest.

Is there a similar website for old bus timetables over the last 20 years?

Is there a similar website for old bus timetables over the last 20 years? Other than this one? Yes because I can't find old bus timetables from the last 20 years on this website. If there are any do you have a direct link?
