"Dusty bins" 321 483 and 484 are "parked up" at Bradford Forster Square. They were made ready to be moved into warm storage at Heaton (near) Newcastle, but are now "powered down" and not moving. 321 485 has gone to Heaton though.
Meanwhile, there's quite a few Pacers stored at or near the Kwvlr platforms at Keighley.
144 001 and 15 more class 144 units btw.

From 31st December 2019, no trains were allowed to be in service if they didn’t comply with the Persons with Reduced Mobility regulations (PRM). Class 153s do not meet the PRM regulations; however, Northern Trains Limited now have a dispensation that grants the Class 153s to be exempt from the regulations.
Under this dispensation, Class 153s need to be coupled to a PRM spec unit (Class 150, 155, 156, 158) in West Yorkshire, unless being operated on the following routes from Huddersfield:
Bradford via Halifax
Castleford via Wakefield Kirkgate
Sheffield via Penistone

Just a quick one, drove past Keighley Station,on Thursday afternoon, which was still full of 144's. Have the 144's then not been given a stay of execution like the 13 142's?

The 142s have a similar dispensation for the revised Southport routes from Alderley Edge and Stalybridge. Not heard anything specific about the 144s; however, a spokesperson for Northern told RailAdvent on Thursday, 4th June 2020: “There are currently no plans to operate Pacers on any routes as part of the amended timetables introduced in May. We still have some Pacers in storage and these will be retained as part of our contingency planning.”

The derogation on the 144's allowing them to remain in service has been extended again, meaning the units can be used until 31 December. That doesn't mean they will return to service, just that they would be allowed to if needed.

What I know has happened in some areas is that Pacers have been given a derogation to remain in service if operated in multiple with a 150 or 153, meaning that anyone who needs an accessible vehicle or who just doesn't wasn't to feel ill can ride in the Sprinter.

Yes, it did run, with a late departure ex Preston, about 10' down at Settle Junction causing a slight delay to the Carlisle-Leeds, then ended up around 40' late into Skipton station.

KWVlr are planning on recommencing their operations mid-August. If they are planning to run steam trains into Keighley station, the pacers will have to be moved out.
