Who mentioned that the Lowlanders were off to Tiger? They'll probably end up at Selby with the rest

The streetdecks have been ordered for quite some time and are currently being built, as for the lowlanders, they’ll prob go to Selby, as tiger are taking a few of the enviro 400’s from Heckmondwike and Heckmondwike will be receiving Wakefield’s Saphire vehicles

They'll probably end up at Selby with the rest I think the Lowlanders are the oldest vehicles at Selby, and the Lowlanders elsewhere are the same age, so if they wouldn't be replacing older buses then what would be the point of moving more of them to Selby?

Well if the lowlanders come to Selby what they going to be used on as 402/3 Leeds LEZ 415 York LEZ all from 1st January 2020 which at minute nothing at Selby is compatible to run them services so why sent buses in that can’t use ??

I was speaking to Nigel Featherham on Twitter the other day and he mentioned that theres no new buses for Selby this year (which is obvious) however he did mention that some of the older wakey fleet *may* be going Selby rather than Tiger. Seems stupid to give Tiger 15 plate Enviros.. The Lowlanders would be perfect for Tiger and useless for Selby given the LEZ

I still think it'd make more sense giving Selby the enviros and sending the Lowlanders to Tiger. As mentioned above by Mark Selby have to comply with the Leeds and York LEZ's and I imagine it'd make more sense keeping the AY fleet as standard as possible.
After all its not been confirmed where any vehicles are going yet - just rumours...

I would imagine they will be looking to retrofit some buses to be Euro VI compliant. While a lot of the buses they run in Leeds are new and are Euro VI straight out of the box, I think there are still enough that aren't that it wouldn't make sense to replace them all with new buses. So buses like the Selby Geminis, which should be good for a few years yet, can be upgraded to meet the emissions limits at a much more viable cost.

I can see them doing the Geminis and the B9 Olympus' but not the Lowlanders - Rendering them more or less useless for Selby unless they stick to the other local routes.

They still need three buses for the 405, two for the 401, and one each for the 4, 6, 7 and 476, so still plenty of scope for keeping non-Euro VI buses in Selby.

1601-1604 are due to go to Tiger. None of the 58 plate Enviro's are going to Tiger. 6 are due to go to ANE when Hecky receive the ex-110 Sapphire buses.

I have seen an interesting advert on Chartwell Bus Sales website: www.chartwellbussales.co.uk/buses_details.php?bus=217Wrightbus StreetDeck New and unregistered Euro 6 Intergral double deckers for sale. Fully PSVAR compliant. Low height. Manufacturers 2 year warranty. Choice of 7. The pictures show that the buses are in unbranded Arriva Sapphire livery but with Sapphire on the headrests. Are these the 7 Streetdecks for Belle Isle's 110 that never arrived?

No Wakefield's are Micro Hybrid Streetdecks just like First Leeds & Bradford have. Transdev Harrogate & Coastliner are the ones with the Volvo B5 version. But when i've just spotted that the first Picture has company legals on but cant zoom in to see which sector it is

I'm convinced that you can just make out Wakefield in that legal lettering.
