Can anyone help, whilst in Marsden yesterday teatime about 5:30 I saw a Stagecoach E200 heading down Peel Street from Manchester Road and then a few minutes later returning via the same route. I didn't see the destination, just the side view. Is this a school working or some other contract please.

Did it have anybody on board. There are three "tourist" attractions in that area. National Trust office and exhibition for the Saddleworth Moor NT estate near the station. The Canal and River Trust runs tours and have a cafe and a very small exhibition at the entrance to the canal tunnel running through to Saddleworth. The is also a mill near the entrance to the tunnel that houses small craft type premises along with another exhibition on the canal. I think there may be some form of music(possibly jazz) festival joining on in Marsden at the moment so possibly dropping off. Sorry can't be more helpful.

Looking at the times then yes, it probably was rail replacement as it was about 17:45 when I saw it. Thanks

Saw a UID Stagecoach E200 tonight as I was in Marsden at approx 1940 and was displaying Rail Replacement Stalybridge as it’s destination.
