Most of the Keighley times are now at www.keighleybus.co.uk/times - there's still some Wharfedale Links times to go up - I'm still wanting to know how the 962 is looking. The 62 swaps which service each hour extends beyond Ilkley, so the first trip of the day is half an hour later. Evenings and Sundays the 62 runs in two non-linked sections. The new timetable introduces a mark to show which services are supported by WYCA, but suggests that no buses to/from the Airport/Pool are and that no buses towards Keighley are. Travelling via Menston adds 10 minutes to the time taken between Ilkley and Otley. I'm not entirely sure of the route from the timetable.

The change to the 923 seems to be an additional morning journey from Otley to Wetherby at 0830.
The two afternoon trips on the 940 operated by Keighley are going to be 15 minutes later.
The 965 will now have 3 different routes it takes, all with the same route number (trips to replace the 963 will run alternate hours).

The changes overall aren't too bad, although I don't think there will be many passengers using the service from Keighley to the Airport with a journey time of 88 minutes. The Jets changes include an additional journey on the K19 (currently 729) from Keighley at 1645 which plugs the gap between 1540 and 1720 and with the bus leaving Bingley at 1713 should nicely time it for commuters. The Riddlesden service goes clockface again and all journeys serve Barley Cote and the Broomhill is again back to clockface but has a last bus 23 minutes earlier at 1422. It looks like the cycle will be Riddlesden (K13) - Oakworth (K10) - Broomhill (K11) off peak

The timetable for the X22 can be found on the bus times.org website. Three journeys each Saturday limited stop and Cullingworth is not shown as one of the stops.

Is it known yet which routes the Sprinters will run? Riddlesden, Broomhill and Black Hill would be logical but could they replace a Solo or two on an existing route in favour of the current 727/729?

It looks like the K10 will be part of the cycle using the Mercedes’ as well. The K10 seems to almost always see a Dart rather than a Solo so that will be an improvement in standards.

I haven't seen anything about this anywhere else, but it seems Yorkshire Tiger have a short, infrequent X49 starting alongside the 649. bustimes.org/services/x49-esholt-shipley(this trip is already run by TLC, but as a 649).

Missed off the list of service changes above, 649 is to be taken over by Yorkshire Tiger, whose policy is to use X49, as a more direct route.

I think it be good if squarepeg did a Moor Allerton - Gledhow- Oakwood- Crossgates - Colton route. Now that would be unique. (Ironically linking a Sainsbury’s to a Sainsbury’s sounds farfetched but interesting . Would be good to see these new times for the 9 and 39 the times are done in sync with existing 8/9 and 38 routes with spacing. And not the “run 5/10 mins infront of the other route “ It would be great linking one Sainsbury's to another. Just a pity that we would be unlikely to gain extra Nectar points using that route.

I picked up the timetable for the X22. There are just 7 stops in each direction, so it shouldn't get too full of people doing shorter journeys.

I'd been going to catch the first X22 on Saturday but circumstances didn't allow. My father-in-law did see it, or rather, them. At least the first journey from Halifax ran with a duplicate - and definitely needed it.

Noted in bradford today when intending to travel is that First have withdrawn the first 607 Sunday morning round trip to Thornton and back meaning no bus until after 0900 from Thornton into Bradford over an hour later that previously, rather poor as the service changes leaflet only said reliability changes and no mention of actual service withdrawls on the 607. Considering this route is seen as a trunk route the service is very poor on Sundays nowadays, some years ago they had already previously cut the half hourly daytime service back to hourly.

Thank you for that. I did pick up a timetable yesterday and was sure there was an earlier bus. It is also very poor for the forthcoming bank holiday as I assume the usual Sunday timetable will apply.

Metro has been very poor recently in announcing changes to times in their published timetables. All the ones I looked at just said that there is a revised timetable, no list of actual changes. What is going on at Metro? Does anybody actually read their own timetables?
