Upon glancing at a First bus on the 372, I couldn't help but notice that there was something different. It appears that the numbers have now been moved over to the left of the blind, with the destination text being in a new, slightly different font - Less bolder, I think? Thoughts on the number change? You don't go to leeds often?? Haha 😂

On the shorter place names it's defo in a new font, with 'via [enter placename here]' on 2 seperate lines next to it Looks rather a lot better I think

It's not quite right on some routes. On the 508, the 8 looks like it's run out of room and is too narrow. It seems fine on 503, which id guess would probably use the same amount of pixels - width wise. I'd love to know the reason for the change, other than some middle management guy creating a job for themselves.

Although I am not keen on the new styles I admire the fact that Hudds and Halifax have done all of their buses, it seems at once unlike Leeds' usual half hearted effort of doing a few at a time. They also look better than the Leeds ones as they have left space between numbers and place name.
The new X6's look awful (especially towards Bradford), everything is in a large font and crammed together without any spaces.

Yep, was very impressed that the majority of Halifaxs all appeared at same time. Some haven't been done, such as the long Solos, but I believe they are not Hanover Displays so they probably need a different guy to reprogram them!

Believe it or not, the guy who has done all these was the original person who made them all in a nice format back in early 2011.

Some of the older destination blinds on the 04 plate Geminis have now been updated in Leeds with the number on the left. I'm starting to get used to the new style although I do think there are still a few tweaks to make on some of them where the text looks too close together. particularly the X6!
