The alighting only halt just before the bus stands is now sealed off oou. Presumably a few months ago.

Think this occurred at the same time as the stand changes in April

Stand P is now the alighting stand.
I believe the problem with the old stand was people using it to run across the bus carriageway as a shortcut

Also unlike other bus stations, with Transdev running it, in many cases they are able to drive straight onto the departure stand and alight customers there, and then leave the bus on stand, even if the departure is many minutes away.

Which is just as well as otherwise there'd be quite a wait for stand P at times, especially when one of the 6 daily National Express services is stopped there.
