If an operator in London had this many fires, it'd probably make the national press. Because Tiger fly under the radar and all the fires take place out in the sticks, nobody has noticed that the same operator keeps having fires every month.

Other bus operators buses set on fire not just tiger and when buses are on the road every day they get tired and overheat a lot but if the driver hasn't seen any warning sign then a fire will start

Rubbish... If you normalise statistics YT seem to have a high number of fires..don't think that can be disputed.

This is not the case with the Evolution, however.

This will explain what I saw at Waterloo this morning. I thought it was the remains of the bus which burnt out on the 262 as this has been round the back. It was dumped outside the garage this morning and is a complete shell.

Do First, Arriva, Stagecoach, Transdev or for that matter any other operators buses catch fire as often as Yorkshire Tigers?. This happens with alarming regularity. Yorkshire tiger elland driver is speaking complete crap trotting out what he has posted. Overheating engines causing fires?. Cobblers!. Dodgy electrics through poor maintenance will be the most likely cause. Why do i say that?, Because after 36yr's in the transport industry (haulage), iv'e seen it all before. Tiger have a problem and need to get it sorted pronto, because it can't be good for customer confidence, boarding a YT bus wondering if they'll end up getting cremated!.
