Firstly this is NOT on the cards AFAIK. However with the Midlands/Shires merger, and the North West/Wales merger in the past,I wonder if this is a possibility. The Midlands/Shires operations are not contiguous like NW/Wales (or North Wales to be precise). Yorkshire Tiger would have to be part of the combination.
This is just a thought, not an actual plan.

Would it save operational costs if they did merge? Theirs been a lot of vehicle movement between the north east/Yorkshire and Tiger. But the north east have a lot of older vehicles in their fleet compared to Yorkshire so would their be a possibility that if it did happen their would be a swap with these older vehicles with some of the newer buses in the yorkshire fleet theirfore downgrading the standard of vehicles down here?
