Few photos been posted on flickr of brand new Enviro 400 MMCs, people guessing they're either for AY 163/6 or Arriva North East. Anybody know anything for sure? I also heard these will be for the Sapphire branded 163/166 from a reliable source. Michael Windle

There's only the 110 that was in the now defunct, Sapphire brand.

Painted? Is it in same livery as 2674?
I wish Arriva would adopt a common fleet numbering scheme like the other groups. It confuses me when I'm seeing Pulsars etc with different numbering schemes in neighbouring cities.

Furthermore, if we put for example Arriva 1234 into Flickr, we usually see plenty of vehicles numbered 1234 from other areas of the country.

I agree Metroline. I live on several AY routes in Leeds that are often operated by Pulsars, yet regularly I'm seeing others in different fleet number ranges given that the vehicles in Manchester are numbered differently.
Back on topic. I rode on 1476 on Friday. It looks similar to Frequenta livery but without the skinny sandstone swoosh and branding. I was understanding that Frequenta does not feature the new set of liveries so wondered why it hadn't been painted into a new style.

With the 280 now being stand alone and presumably being promoted as a simpler service I wonder if they might introduce some route branding?

Terrible Econospeed settings From what I gather, the econospeed settings are more geared to the area it operates in, rather than to the specific vehicle.
