I had to double check what I saw because an Arriva Sapphire E400 was at Leeds University, out of service. Using the University access Road to U turn. What was it doing up here One of the National express 561 Leeds - London journeys serves Leeds Uni around 3/4pm and uses the access road to turn around. There are 3 peak time X41 journeys that start from the Leeds general infirmary. Think it 16.35 17.05 and 17.35 so it may have been positioning for one of those journeys I haven't seen an Arriva Bus, that way. Ages ago (mid 2000s - 2007 the 444/446/447 journeys used to terminate there as they headed From Leeds Uni towards Bretton hall, Sculpture Park, before heading towards Barnsley or Denby Dale. Bretton hall is closed, and I suppose the services to the uni weren't needed.

When I passed Waterloo last week it appeared that an effort to get some vehicles into a serviceable condition would be a good idea.

Saw one of Castleford's 'Commanders' working the 17:05 Knottingley - Wakefield 188 tonight. First time I've ever seen a Commander on that particular service.

One of the Flying Tigers Scanias spent quite a long time running with an engine cover that was not shut properly
