It seems the Alexander Royales & strider are not missallocations on the Red & Blue Line(ers) they only use them at set times according to the timetables on the First website. It's about time they had Alexander Alx400's on the Light Green Line(er).

They don't appear on the actual printed timetables or on bus stop timetables. For a long while now, all buses on the red/blue routes have been low floor and first did promise this would be the case. Why change this policy, it's not as if first are short of low floor vehicles, so many were available for these routes before the new depot opened that it was 100% low floor. Slightly off subject, would somebody explain to me why the 63 and 63a old times are still displayed on most bus stops on their route? The evening times changed on 18 May, many people are getting caught out including myself. I only knew yesterday that the times had changed through eventually locating the timetable changes section on Metro's website. Nice of them to hide it! For those of you who don't know, the changes section is located at the side of the timetables section under related links.

If the Striders are used at set times it's definitely the wrong set times! I caught one home on the 12 last week coming out of Leeds at around 5.30pm. bus was up to maximum capacity!

The indications of low floor/non-low floor operation on First's online timetable were used after the timetables and interworking were changed last year, and was a temporary measure supposedly designed to explain which buses would be 'guaranteed' low floor until all the new B9TLs arrived. However now all said buses are here, I presume it is only a case of the online timetable not being updated properly, and there shouldn't be any excuse for not maintaining the 100% low floor promise.
