Hudds to barnsley old 92 route Would be a nice addition to the Barnsley Network, especially as the current 92 only runs as far as Cawthorne, and under the Barnsley Bus Partnership, there looks like a VERY POOR service for anyone who lives beyond Penistone. If running from Holmfirth, possibly inter worked with 435/436/437 if a Waterloo route, or could even be a Honley route, as dead mileage would be negligible.

What did this thread start off as, as it seems slightly confusing? Someone reporting about Rumours that Tiger Huddersfield had won the 92 route and are extending it to Huddersfield. The account that started the thread has been deleted so the title has gone with it.

If the 25/92 between Holmfirth and Barnsley is to be replaced when the new partnership comes into effect then it'll be someone like South Pennine offering limited journeys at peak times fitted around the times of other services like the school contract or Marsden routes. Times would be tight however so can't see them doing the full route, maybe only covering Holmfirth to Penistone not via Dunford. Potentially they could also offer daytime journeys through to Barnsley on Monday and Tuesday complementing their Wednesday bus.
