I thought route 760 would gain some more recent double-deckers from route 36 or Yorkshire Coastliner. The ones I saw on the August Bank Holiday on route 760 were still these Presidents though.

Coastliner are due new buses later this year, I'd be surprised if the 760 doesn't get Gemini's and some type of new brand once these are delivered, unless of course the existing coastliner buses are leased.

Lothian Olympian 2006 which WYIS has down as withdrawn for disposal at Burnley is in use at Harrogate, typically on the new S32 non NYCC funded school run and still fully decked in LU blue & yellow with red roses.

New WYIS list today shows B10BLE 1065 as having returned to Keighley and B7RLE 1823 having gone to Harrogate instead - more logical as that is in the black M-Ticket livery. Versa loanee YJ62FFB has vanished. Now withdrawn are Olympians 13 (from Harrogate), 977 988 & 989 (from Keighley) and Solos 1263 & 1264 (from York) - all listed for disposal.

Shame they couldn't get glazed corners like Lothian have.

New Coastliner bus pictured with three members of Transdev staff at the Wrightbus plant in Ballymena, with Alex Hornby hinting towards tables Does anyone know if the entire fleet is being upgraded or just older ones?

Gemini 404 is out and about in Keighley right now. In debranded LU livery with a coastliner sticker on the front.
Shame I don't have my camera with me.

Does anyone know if the entire fleet is being upgraded or just older ones? 10 vehicles are on order so presumably only the 2008 vehicles will be replaced.

Yesterdays WYIS list has the refurbished B7RLEs at Starbeck as to be re-registered in the H(xx)ESU series 1701-1705 as H1ESU-H5ESU, 1800 as H10ESU and 1834/7/8/9 as H16ESU-H19ESU. Wonder if 1701-1705 will actually be H11ESU-H15ESU.
Coastliners new B5TLs are now listed as 3629-3638
Darts 703 & 704 are listed as withdrawn for disposal
Darts 710,711 and 719 are to go to Keighley (presumably assisted by the existing Darts at Keighly on the new tendered services)

Darts 710,711 and 719 are to go to Keighley (presumably assisted by the existing Darts at Keighly on the new tendered services) That's interesting that only 3 are joining the fleet. Looks like the Wharfedale Links require 6 darts, plus 2 for 846/7. With 710, 711 and 719 joining existing 712-713, 716-718 it looks like K6 and K10 will go over to full size single deckers. Wonder if any darts will return from Burnley to provide any spares

Interesting that they aren't using the 400 sequence for the new Coastliner buses, but I had a feeling they wouldn't.
Regarding the apparent Dart shortage, whereas what was the 703 and 706 regularly saw full sized single decks, I don't think full length 720s tended to. Some of the Burnley darts are only required for school (or technically college) services so could possibly use full sized buses instead.

The K10 has had full size singles on a few times of late, and currently the last 2 trips of the day are often B7/B10

1834, 1837, 1838 and 1839 are at Harrogate (Starbeck). WYIS has them listed as being H16ESU-H19ESU. I presume ESU stands for Emission Suppression Unit, or something similar, as the vehicles on this route as well as the 770/1 are supposed to having such a system fitted.

1704 is H4ESU, H14ESU is 1834. Apologies - and I sat there looking at 1704 yesterday convinced it had 14 on its registration - must have been the weird reflections through the filthy windscreen of the work car (no one ever bothers to clean the inside which makes this time of year with low sun interesting to say the least). Todays WYIS list however still has 1834 as H16ESU. Black M-ticket Darts 703 & 704 previously listed as being withdrawn for disposal are now both listed as being at Keighley, 703 having transferred from Harrogate (Starbeck). Five open top Dennis Trident 2s are listed as being due from Lothian and to converted to electric propulsion for use in York.

1014 (YD02 UMW) is back in service at Intack maybe it replacing 251 (YJ57 XVN) which is returning off lease in late 2016. 439/40 isn`t in service at Intack and is parked in reserve.

1704 is H4ESU, H14ESU is 1834. No vehicle is H14ESU, 1834 is H16ESU. Further, according to author of the WYIS fleeetlist posting on the Yahoo group 1700 is not being refurbished due to it being non standard (an ex demonstrator) so only 1800 remains to be dealt with. ESU apparently stands for........Engineering Support Unit, stated as being an in-joke - the Blackburn team being responsible for the refurbishment.
