First idea i had for a night route was a variation of the current 72 or x6...
N72 Leeds Swinegate, Park Row, Westgate, Burley Road, Willow Road, Viaduct Road, Canal Road, Stanningley Road, Bradford Road, Thornbury Roundabout, Leeds Road, Hall Ings right onto Sunbridge Road then left onto Godwin Street, then left onto Hall Ings and reverse of Route.
NX6 would obvipusly use stanningley by pass instead if stanningley road is not a viable option for commercial/timing reasons.
What do you think? Please share other suggestions...

Years ago there was a Leeds - Bradford - Halifax service.
Variation to the above could be Leeds - Bradford via Church Bank, Forster Square and City Bus route to Interchange then return as above.

You would have thought if Transdev think it's worth running/trialing night buses to Harrogate and York (and a late one to Keighley from Bradford/Leeds) there would be a market for Leeds to Bradford.

Night route? You're lucky if you can get a bus after 9pm.

Night buses would be good on some Leeds routes 1, 2, 12, 33, 50, 52, 56, 72 and 110 (Leeds - Wakefield only) could all make good night routes, or could even have extended night running times with buses finishing at 1am.

Perhaps they need to start with some better publicity - the 1 already is a night route.

Haha the 1 is already a night service.
Well ive caught the last train and last busses from Leeds to Bradford and they've always been packed so I thought it would have been a good idea to link these two cities later than at current.
But yes I think 110 would also work.

As for the 33, parts of the route are already covered by the N757.

Although I haven't seen anything about it being withdrawn I can't get Metro's journey planner to show it (the trips I did it suggested getting the 1 and then doing a rather long walk) and I can't find it on Yorkshire Tiger's website.

A bit of archive digging and it suggests that the service ran in the months leading up to Christmas only.

10 years ago or so I'm sure the 2/12 routes ran though the night along with the 95. I seem to remember plaxton Verde route branded for the 2/12. In surprised night buses haven't taken off more in Leeds with the numerous new bars etc.

The 95 was always popular with the students and only ran Thurs to sun I think. Also think the 56 tried night times ones too maybe Thurs to Sunday again. Sent from my D6603 using proboards

Then only calls to alight if anyone is on.
