Saw BI plain Gemini 1531 on a 126 working round Chickenley heading for Wakefield yesterday at 17:00 Believe Belle Isle run a couple of peak time journeys on the 126/7 now if I'm correct? Majority operated by Dewsbury. I thought the additional peak-time journeys only ran Mon-Friday

Talking about Yorkshire Tiger. I know on a morning it is a Tempo and a Solo, but does anyone know what the scheduled allocation is on the 38 on an afternoon now? I have seen the journey that finishes at Moortown Corner around 19:00 twice this week and it was 892, 906 so assume it does a school before it starts at Wortley 16:21. The one that starts at Gledhow 16:20 seems to be anything from a Solo to a Gemini, think over the past year I've photographed most of the fleet on that duty! This one used to be the same bus that had been on the 63 earlier but I don't know what it comes off now although I've seen it running private on Roundhay Rd to take up duty at Gledhow.

Longstaff's have an orange 64 reg optare demonstrator on the 205 this afternoon ( long one not a solo , but can't remember what they are called )!!!!!! Sounds like the Metro City demo YJ64DWK. Yes that's the one !! Why do they need so many buses ? They run 1 service and have at least 4 different single deckers for it !

At least this week, First Huddersfield's got the desti's programmed with 229 If I'm correct, it may have been 49499 doing the 1830 229 to Leeds, been parked on back wall at bus station since 1635, mind you, it was still on stand Z at 1835 and an Eclipse 2, was parked on back wall at 1840, displaying 229 Leeds

The 1621 from gledhow comes off the CH21 school service. The one from wortley ringways leaves the depot at 1550 so it could be any thing that is avalible

Think both the afternoon 38 boards have changed over the years, at one point one of them used to be the same bus that had been on 63 'til mid afternoon and the other used to be the bus that had been on 781. That's going back some time though, it's when Tiger did the tendered work on the 91, when I once saw the board on the 38 I noticed it had been on 91 early morning, then 781, then 38, then onto the 9 on an evening! More recently and up 'til last year the 781 went on to the 93 early/mid afternoon but not sure if it still does since the uni route became the 29. Pretty certain though that the 781 does an early morning 38 first.

Yes the 781 bus does do the 38 first and afterwards I believe goes onto the 29. The other morning 38 bus goes onto the 80.
There is a former Geldards school run that finishes at Wortley not long before the 38 starts, I bet the people who do the schedules haven't noticed that as it would avoid two lots of dead running passing each other probably on Whitehall Road.
There is also a scheduled double deck run on the 747 on an afternoon as well.

Thanks for that, I had a feeling that, I'd got the second digit wrong.

The allocation for the 214 seems to be a regular pattern. The first few is usually a Gemini while the rest of the day service is a Lowlander. Gemini is one that comes off a school run an works til 11.24 Then the lowlander takes over from 11.27. Do we know what it goes onto after the final run at 15.24?

Does anyone know if this bizarre route has actually carried any passengers yet? Runs back to depot and parks up from what I've been told I see this service every day at work. Not many catch it but people do catch it from white rose to Morley and some go to Asda as it goes up fountain Street. As for retail park an odd few are usually on board and some get off at the 229 stop outside Starbucks. Sent from my D6603 using proboards
