FWY 36212 seems to have broken down on Ring Road, Beeston. Can still see it as its just now been attended to with a First van behind it.
Update: I just saw the van and bus go off as before that one of the maintenance guys was doing some sweeping up on the grass verge indicating it could have been a smashed window although not too sure.

The usual higher than normal usage of school bus ALX400s in old livery on public routes in Bradford this week due to half term. Will no doubt be repeated at Easter.

Had my nemesis on mi '149' to work tonight, Belle Isle Pulsar 1460 yet again. Don't think Av ever bashed an Arriva bus as much as this one. Was the first ever Pulsar I'd bashed about Four years ago, and been a regular ever since.

Sorry, not up to speed on this one. Is it First Huddersfield running the 229 sunday eve's?. From a bystander's point of view, i find it somewhat bemusing when Arriva "big-up" the 229 by converting it to the oversubscribed/devalued "MAX" branding, but are quite happy to let their biggest rival in WY run this service. Could someone educate me as to why this has happened?.

Mon to Saturday evenings are not affected and are still run by Arriva

UID First Bradford single on their new peak time Mon-Fri 256 (Bradford - Cleckheaton - Brighouse) route, with destination programmed correctly, unlike First Huddersfield last night (Sunday), running on 229 with paper desti in windscreen

I'm not sure branding people "idiots" does much for the reputation of the forum.
Leeds also had 60897 on the 611, I assume that one is a Leeds bus, it has no skyline.

I think my definition of "idiots", would be a company that creates such a hoo-hah about rebranding a service, then loses out to it's biggest rival in the tendering process on sunday eve's.

The fact that Sunday evenings is the only bit that's tendered shows how important those journeys are, I,e 99% of MAX 229 passengers won't know what's going on with those journeys as they don't travel at that time. The only way to secure those journeys would have been for Arriva to decide to operate them commercially, which they presumably don't want to, as they probably carry mostly fresh air and are loss making without subsidy.
