Found out today , 7 new Streetlites on order for Halifax Depot ! apparently going to be Route branded in an alternative livery for use on ? don't know yet, but likely candidates are 579, 548/9 and 510/2 Delivery dates, I would guess will be mid summer.

Do we know if they are the Full Size ones? Or the slightly shorter ones like Huddersfields...?

I would have thought the Mixenden routes would be the prime candidate. Besides the Red Arrow routes, Mixenden must be the most profitable corridor and a major part of Halifax's dwindling network that they need to keep a hold of.

Besides the Red Arrow routes, Mixenden must be the most profitable corridor and a major part of Halifax's dwindling network that they need to keep a hold of. First still operate 90% of all historic commercial mileage in Calderdale, Yorkshire Tiger operate 90% of all tendered , First doesn't operate rubbish anymore, and is a highly profitable unit now, whether YT are making any money is hugely debateable after the ridiculously low tender bid for the Calderdale work.

Travelled on a few of them and found their suspension and brakes to be rather harsh. Also, the Voith gearbox changed through the gears far too early and is forever jumping back into the gear it just came out. They will look nice and shiny for a while though....

I think they would be the suitable vehicle for the 522/523's instead of the 3 Eclipse 2's from Todmorden.

It would make sense for them to go on Red Arrows in special RA livery considering only 3 buses offer the luxuries it is advertising it would make more sense for them to go on RA corridors. As to be honest the current stock looks like a quick fix to help publicity.

69582 still at work in Leeds, out on route X33 tonight, is this a permanent transfer?

I am sure that I read somewhere that the deckers would do away with the Royale's either on a direct or cascade basis
