Guys, seriously this is not an issue. I don't mind questions, I just rarely get the chance to log on here so can't guarantee an immediate answer!
Anyway, let's get back to talking about buses!
594 is not included in the re-furb plan. It is supposed to be a high capacity spare and school bus for Honley. It will have to be withdrawn by January 2016 because of DDA requirements and will likely prove costly to convert.
The Tiger Blue re-furbs are not a 5 minute job, so don't expect the programme to be finished until at least February/March next year by which time I'm sure there will be other options and plans regarding fleet matters such as this.

Calm down everyone! The commander is 616, now registered KUI6563 (was YJ55 WTD) but incorrectly marked up with fleet number 613 (it will get corrected shortly)! So it has been photographed at Blackburn, with KUI6563 on, and this afternoon was at Waterloo with YJ55WTD.

594 is generally seen on 262 shorts during the week, presumably between school runs, either the K12 or the K185. Do you know what the PVR is for K-Line, 28+4?
mg, give it a few days and it will no doubt become clear why an issue was being made about the incessant questions by our friend there.

Two vehicles were present at The Pennine Moor Hotel outside Huddersfield this morning.. According to Tiger Blue staff the Wright bodied DAF should be in service on the 324 tomorrow. It is route branded for this service. The Optare will be on a service on Monday

The Optare will be on a service on Monday Personally I wouldn't expect to see 400 on anything other than AccessBus at present, due to it not currently being fitted with an ERG machine (but a Ticketer, presumably from its previous use by Kirklees), so unable to issue normal ticket range.

Rather like the blue and the 'brought to you by K Line' bit.

Truth be told, It's a massive improvement on K-Line's previous incarnation. In Huddersfield, K-Line never really engendered any brand loyalty, and as most of K-Line's route's duplicate First's, then passengers only jumped aboard the K-Line bus because they'd missed the First service. Hopefully, now, given route branded buses and a smart new identity plus attractive ticketing offers, Tiger Blue could be the operator of choice for many passenger's on those route's, thus providing some real competition for First.

Has anyone actually seen the Tiger Blue vehicles actually in service? Today K-Line were using pretty much every other bus they have but these.
I'm wondering if the press launch was done early so Martjin could oversee it, and they will wait until all 3 Meltham vehicles are ready before they enter service, as one random bus in use on the route would be quite a weak launch.

The blue Solo X166 NWR was noted in service on 317 Lindley Friday evening.

One option could be a mechanical issue which came to light while it was being refurbished but I'm with you and I would wait until all three are available for the 324 and then launch each route as and when their buses become available.

On way into Huddersfield at 1pm today(Friday) a Yorkshire Blue liveried Wright bodied DAF was operating the 324 to Meltham in the opposite direction fully route branded. Possibly the first time in service

Thank you for your update SF07. In one pair of timetables they have omitted the l from Huddersfield, so just typed Huddersfied!
