Yesterday, Dewsbury bus museum held their annual Spring open day. I had a ride around on the vehicles that were being used on the shuttle services between the bus museum and bus station. Arriva Yorkshire kindly provided two buses: 1801 Darwen Olympus Volvo B9TL YJ57 BEUand 502 ELC Dennis Arrow N802 TPK (which has been withdrawn today apparently). Naturally, I recorded both journeys and the videos can be found on the usual place of You Tube, links below: Volvo B9TL 1801 : youtube.com/watch?v=w9V3VMdWJwUDennis Arrow 502 : youtube.com/watch?v=EXqs9JdWfnoEnjoy. Well, it was ok when I was on it which was the first time it drove without problem.
The gearbox kept getting stuck in top gear so Tony had to keep pulling over and resetting it.
