No trains between Leeds and Wakefield Westgate until further notice due to damaged overhead wires in the Outwood area.
Northern Rail Leeds to Sheffield via Moorthorpe services diverted via Woodlesford Northern Rail Leeds to Doncaster running between Wakefield Westgate and Doncaster only CrossCountry services diverting where possible East Coast services either starting from Wakefield Westgate, being diverted, starting from York or being cancelled.

I saw several 91 and 43's diverted via Neville Hill, with one with a Class 67 on the front. Also saw a XC 221 go into Leeds, then back out the same way! Was a weird site and was confused!

Any 91 diverted via Neville Hill would have had a 67 on the front as the wires end there.
The XC would have presumably been diverted via Hambleton and Doncaster, or alternatively terminated at Leeds and sent back north in place of a northbound train terminated at Sheffield or Wakefield and sent south in place of the southbound set, keeping a service running either side of the blockage.

Yes, an EWS class 67 came into Leeds, then pulled out a set. Also, when service was resumed properly, 2 sets of 91's and mk3's came in. Not sure of the XC service, a diversion seemed more suitable. www.flickr.com/photos/eric_the_duck/12971746194/in/photolist-cdeZ27-c79E2o-bkprSz-agKHgm-bEEzDt-kLgAds-dJtr4X-iuDSSB-cTPxD9-7X4TUM-bmWVZZ-81nBefHere shows a picture of a previous diversion on the Cross Country. When engineering works at South Kirkby. They could, divert via Castleford and Kirkgate then connect back to ECML at West Gate as the disruption was further up at Outwood?
