I think it has taken Arriva a long time to decide that not enough customers were using the 280, after they considered such a service was required, although that was nothing to do with SGI covering that route! According to a local newspaper, more buses are needed for the ever popular 202/3 services to the White Rose Centre. Couldn't be anything to do with a competitor on that route could it? Looking at the new timetable for the 202/203 it would appear an extra bus is being added which will increase layover time at both Leeds and Huddersfield. As these services frequently run late this change should hopefully help improve its performance

What do people think about the Hebden Bridge minibus services changing to use 'big bus' service numbers? Seems like a retrograde step to me, I think they last used this type of number pre deregulation before they were converted to 'MicroRider' buses. Not sure why they didn't continue with the letters or maybe revert to H1, H2 or maybe HB1, HB2 etc.

Advantages of the new services are through tickets are going to be introduced (apparantly) to Halifax with First, a possibility of peak time minibus services from Old town or Heptonstall to Halifax depending on usage & £1 flat fare on all services (apart from Flexibus)

Curiously the 662 timetable hasn't been loaded on to either Metro's or Transdev's websites yet it is shown in Metro's Changing Times as having a new timetable from Sunday. Bit poor to not give any advance warning of changes, seems you have to be a mind reader when using Transdev!

Transdev in Keighley's website still has the old design as well, despite the new layout being adopted to the Lancashire and York/Coastliner websites.
