Can't see the Optare Excel's or Mercedes 0405's lasting much longer either. They've done well to keep the Excels running as long as they have as they aren't the best of buses!

I saw the picture of a Volvo B7RLE-MCV in Buses magazine. Do these have any especially regular routes?
Also, are many ex-Finglands buses in service, and if so are they spread out or kept together at minimal number of sheds?

Most ex-Finglands buses are allocated to Hull. It appears that all have now been painted.
Buses 318 and 420 have been sold.

Buses 617, 635, 636 and 637 have been sold.
This means only 6 Olympians remain with EYMS - 614, 624, 629, 630, 631 and 632.
The only Excels that remain are R250 PRH, R252-254 PRH, and S296 RAG.

421 and 422 have now been sold, meaning VK05 LKM is the only Optare Solo remaining at EYMS.
461 and 499-501 are delicensed, so W___ UAGs and YX06 HV_s could be the next lot to go.
EYMS have reintroduced the Whittle buses into their fleet list, and ex-Whittle 349-352 and 354-355 have been allocated to Hull, as have 638 and 639, all having previously been delicensed.

On its way, Volvo B5TL MCV Decker: Volvo has married its Euro 6 B5TL chassis with an all-new MCV double-decker body, and the first example is on its way to Hull-based East Yorkshire Motor Services. Volvo’s relationship with Egypt-based MCV is long-standing, with its Evolution single-decker finding a slot in many independents’ fleets. At Euro 6 it has added an all-new double-decker body, meaning that the UK market now has the choice of three (including ADL and Wrights) on the new B5TL chassis www.route-one.net/vehicles/first-look-volvo-b5tl-mcv-evoseti/

It would have made an interesting contrast with the Northern Counties Olympian working it's final service on Saturday!

EYMS have been running SL15ZGP on the X46 for the last couple of days – this is a Wright StreetDeck and looks like it's a demonstrator, it's not in EYMS livery!

June fleet news from EYMS website:
9th Bus 614 (N746 ANE) has been sold. Loan bus 134 (YX64 VOO) will be returning to EYMS permanently in the next few weeks, and will become fleet number 794. The Volvo B5TL MCV (BP15 OLH) due in the next few weeks will be given fleet number 793. There are three Volvo B9TL double-deck buses on order. These will be given fleet numbers 790 (BP15 OLC), 791 (BP15 OLE) and 792 (BP15 OLG). There are three short ADL Enviro 200's due soon. These will be given fleet numbers 502 (MX12 CFF). 503 (MX12 CFG) and 504 (MX12 CFK). 29th - fleet numbers 502, 503 and 504 (details above) have arrived.
I assume the E200's are from Mistral and were previously on a 3 year lease with somebody.

Surely the Volvo double deckers will be B5TL's rather than B9TL's?

Surely the Volvo double deckers will be B5TL's rather than B9TL's? Unless any of the batch of B9TL's built for stock are left. It doesn't state bodywork either, so assume they will be Gemini's.

IIRC, the Fleet news section of Buses mag noted an operator taking the last of the Dealer stock so unless that's wrong...

483 and 504 are coming to Scarborough.
333 and 464 have been delicensed, which could lead to the end of the famous Dennis Dart engine noises in Scarborough.
Both are still at Scarborough though, I thought delicensed buses went to Hull.
