If they are going on the 301/302 Golcar circulars, they should have ordered the Max version instead.

Well at least Halifax has got its newer buses, several months later than intended.

Will they be staying at Halifax though, or going to Bradford as originally intended?.

That's good for Halifax, Are they additional vehicles, or are they replacing members of the current fleet?. Having just read kev g's post above it looks like 10 B7RLE's are being replaced so i suppose ive answered my own question. The new one's have certainly done the round's before arriving in WY though. Although some ran in service from GM, Would i be correct in assuming they were only in SY for storage short term and not actually in service there?.

4 of them 69584 - 69587 were used as paint floats at Rotherham while their route 22 Catch the Duck branded B7RLEs 69043 - 69056 were repainted. 69579/580/582/583 I believe were in store at Rotherham along with 69577/578 which moved to Manchester Queens road for use as extra buses for Xmas. 69581 has been in the Manchester area for a while I believe at Bolton so I can only assume that 69578/581 will have come back over the Pennines to Halifax if the 10 are 69578 - 69587.

At times you can just about see the rear destination blind on both 36210/73. I'm a fan of all over bus adverts I think they look good. I've seen some tragic ones. Example Being I liked 8017 Scania N113/Alexander RH Yellow Leeds Rhinos Advert back in the millennium. Though you couldn't see out of the side windows (as a kid) on one cold winter evening from kirkstall on the then 734.(now 33) You mean like this www.flickr.com/photos/43141458@N04/8201246104/in/photolist-duHwJU-gq1WxtNeve did get why 28s used to display "Adel and City" on the blinds.

At the time of me typing this there is just one First Leeds Gemini remaining in Barbie, 37683. 32450 is not yet out in the new livery but is off the road with engine problems but should be painted before it's out. In fact it may have been painted whilst it's been off, need to firm up on that.
There's still some B7RLE's to do though, along with any Scanias that are going to be kept on.

At Huddersfield now, the majority of the ALX400's have been done. For some time now all Wrightbuses (Eclipse's/Gemini's) have been done. The only batch not to receive Olympia are the step-decker's, Royale's and 1 Palatine 2. Given the latter have now a very limited lifespan, and considering the speed of the repaint's taking place, I could well imagine Huddersfield to be in pole position to be FWY's 1st depot to be 100% in new livery. Maybe even 1st depot in country.

According to HP paintshop, Leeds' two Royales 30239 & 30790 are on the list to be repainted in the new livery and unless they suffer major failure they will be staying 'til 2017! Doesn't necessarily mean they'll stay in Leeds though, we'll see what develops on that one!

If these get the new livery and last the next 3 years I'll be amazed , i can only see the 2 lasting until first start ordering new deckers. Get the buses in preservation when service expiry has ended. 30790 into Leeds City link livery 5610. Same with 30239 ( even though this one never had it, when new )

I saw lots of men in high vis jackets attending a bus and eventually police set up a road block. The diversion has been lifted, bus was moved/towed and since 10/11am and all buses now operating normal routes.

Why are York getting those and not the 53/04 plate ones?
