Artics 10040/41/43 have moved to Cherry Row last couple of days. 10042 still in use but on borrowed time. Plans are a place to use some parts from these on FTR's. Some common parts are shared and also some parts are useful for the 60*** B7L's that Bramley have gained.

Think a short time ago it was mentioned that Scania L94 60217 would be getting the DDA upgrade but it now looks like this won't be happening. 60067 is currently being upgraded and I think this is the last Scania getting done so 60217 will be withdrawn. So a quick resume of the Leeds L94s:
60065 to be withdrawn 60066/67/172/212/3/4 upgraded 60217 to be withdrawn 61029 upgraded 61030/31 already withdrawn 61032 to be withdrawn 61034-41 upgraded

66769 has a received a new wiring loom and engine tuning and should hopefully be on the road by the end of this week after successful tests.

May I bounce the question back to you and ask "why was such a big deal being made over the 190xx's earlier in the thread? Now that's a question that should really have included the word 'crap'!.

Thanks. 31778 is in Olympia and 31779 is barbie. 31779 was at HP for painting about a week ago but was sent back to HX untouched because I think HX wanted another B7TL doing in Zest livery. Halifax should be getting 31776-780. These were pencilled in for Bradford but looks like plans (as usual)have changed.

Thank you, yes the name of the thread is Fleet Changes and these buses have moved from South Yorkshire to Bradford so is much more appropriate than talk of buses which have been in Bramley for some time now. If First Bradford put a milk float into service on the X6 I would report it and for what it's worth I think a Gemini/B9TL is a much more solid bus than an E40D or ALX400, at least from a passengers point of view.

It was reported on Facebook that 31780 left Sheffield for Halifax at the same time as 31778/9 but whether it made it is another story completely.

OK can't voice a opinion without someone getting offended in anything bus related.. I did say it was my opinion only.. I still find the b9s crap though.. Just there's so many b9s in West Yorkshire I get fed up of seeing and hearing about them

The B9s are an improvement on what was in place already and like others have said, they want to keep track on them. PS I'd love to know what makes them "crap" because when comparing them to any other LF, DDA compliant decker in the FWY fleet, they're a mile ahead of anything else. E400s - plastic, lack atmosphere. Hated by drivers. B7 Gems- not ageing very well, still blow out of their arses with the cooling fans. B7 Alxs - as above, but with worse interiors.

Shouldn't comments like this be confined to the canteen thread, this thread is for fleet changes isn't it?

You can often hear a "oh FFS not a 33xxx" or "atleast its not a 33xxx" depending on what has turned up for them. Somehow gives a different impression to the one you have Chris? I agree with the 32xxxs, they still go well but from a passenger prospective, they aren't the best (some smell like the old BP Scanias now)
