Catch The Bus Week - 29th April to 5th May

Looks like another campaign to get people to use buses.

Arriva & Stagecoach are giving away free day tickets. Arriva through their m-Ticket app, while Stagecoach giving theirs away in cities & town centres.

Other operators partaking are: First, Go-Ahead Group (excluding Southern Vectis, London operations apart from Metrobus), Blackpool Transport & Ipswich Buses; as well as free travel on selected Merseytravel-supported routes.

Great idea, but getting people out of their cars and onto the bus on a regular basis will take a bit more than a 'Catch the bus week', but its a start.
