If they are going on the 301/302 Golcar circulars, they should have ordered the Max version instead.

The buyout of Centrebus may be a good thing as newer investment is required for its subsidiaries, especially Huddersfield Bus Company and K-Line.

Complete & utter cobblers though it did give my boss a chuckle this morning once I had explained who CEN Group were as he had never heard of them (and he is one of the owners). You do realise that Central Buses is about the same size as one of the smaller Centrebus depots & Centrad is basically a wholesaler of products built to their design by someone in China, the company just isn't big enough to do something like this, just buying one depot would effectively double the size of the business and none of them are anywhere near Birmingham where the company is based.

Yet again people are so eager to be first with the news that they don't have any filter. A bit like Sky News compared to the BBC News Channel. Sadly this is rife within the hobby these days, particularly in the comments under photos on Flickr.

Both K-Line Commander's 613/614?. Now have Irish plates. Whats the preoccupation with these "paddy" plates?. Surely it's just another added cost to the business, all this re-registering malarkey!.

Hides the age

Why would K-Line be bothered about hiding the age of the vehicles they run?. If that was the case then surely the "H" reg Scania decker or the "S" reg Solo would be the recipient of these plates and not the 04/55 Commander's or the 02 Cadet!.

Why would customers/standard public be bothered about age? Surely as long as the bus arrives to or near to times thats all they are bothered about?

60 plate MCV Evolution, now working out of Waterloo (sorry, couldn't catch fleet no). Would assume transfer or loan from Leeds.

There seems to be a lot of loss mileage at Centrebus Elland lately. They are good at tweeting about it but it highlights a lack of spare buses or spare drivers.
Disruption often effects journeys on the 528 which is only hourly and long distance. Today, which is Halifax Gala day by the way, a third of all journeys on the 36 are cancelled.

The forthcoming dispersal of the Kimes of Folkingham fleet includes Wright Commander FX04TJY moving to Huddersfield. Not even close - there are 2 Commanders at Kimes one is down to go to Corby the other to Grantham and both are tied in to specific services being transferred so that is unlikely to change, the other 2 SB200s (a Pulsar & Pulsar 2) are going to Saxby and likewise tied in to specific services transferred. It does look like the SPD 599 (V159EFS) is coming north to Huddersfield, not entirely clear why myself but I'm not in charge of vehicle allocations to be clear on their thinking.
