Great photo's of probably the best turned out fleet in Britain. Lothian buses.com is an absolutely fantastic bus company which is held in the highest regard by both passengers and enthusiasts alike. Anyone with an interest in the company should view Stuart Montgomery's Flickr Lothian Bus site.

Some good photos of a nice fleet. Not been up to Edinburgh for a good few years. The East Lothian ones look good.
I assume Lothian don't like electronic destination blinds? As all appear to be standard roller blinds (Even fairly new vehicles) except the E400's.

There's one or two B7TL's and B9TL's which have electronic desti blinds. Also a couple of B7RLE's have them. These have been retro-fitted on a trial basis, But Lothian Buses do favour the traditional roller blinds.

Thanks AW, You are correct the B7RLE's are 193/4. These Eclipse's are of note, as being the only buses in the current fleet acquired secondhand, and of non-standard LB spec. They have ZF boxes instead of Voith which LB have in all the other B7TL's/RLE's and B9TL's. Going back to the desti blinds, all of the 11 plate batch of Gemini 2's have electronic blinds in the side as well.

Some good photos, and they brought back memories of my return visit to Edinburgh in May. Do the new Eclipses with East Lothian Buses have a similar moquette to last year's double-deck deliveries to Lothian Buses? I imagine them being green, like the E400Hs on route 10, to match the livery.
