There is NO mention of anything running into Rotherham Town Centre, unless of course you know something else

It might go via Rotherham Town Centre while do a shuttle service between Parkgate and Museum. Double Deckers cant go under the Bridge at Aldwarke Road from Parkgate due to the low Bridge.

I agree with you the route for a decker would take it to within a few 100 yards of the Bus Station but to quote their own web site. "There are also vintage bus services to and from the Museum to Parkgate Retail Park." and the link to it www.sytm.co.uk/html/rally.html

Thank you for everybody's comments I have just emailed the site and various people within the museum for clarification
The draft timetable I saw was a aldwarke to alwarke circle running to rothehram town centre then to parkgate then to aldwarke avoiding the low bridge.
I will keep you all updated, once again many thanks for bringing this to my attention

For anyone wanting to make their own way to the rally, I found this on the website Don't forget this year's rally is at Aldwarke and not Meadowhall. Note also that in the past year there has been a lot of construction work on the Waddington Way site and this has produced a large amount of extra parking space. There is ample space for the rally and car parking for visitors. www.sytm.co.uk/index.html

I went and it wasn't bad for its size, It was nice to meet new faces of Facebook and ovcoruse Forums including Busman3. I manged to get on all 3 tour buses too which was great. 658 certainly the best thing out there but i have to say that, I grow up with Yorkshire Tractions Olympians.

Aye was a poor rally compared to previous years. Seems no people make the effort these days and only 3-4 buses running. Meadowhall used to be about 5 times the size.
