Aren't Todmorden and Hebden Bridge supposed to be getting electric vehicles funded by the Zebra scheme also? No Metro routes (Holmfirth Locals currently run by Stotts, Hebden Bridge & Tod routes) was abandoned for now Where have you found evidence of it being abandoned?

The Kirklees/Calderdale batch got dropped at some point during 2021 & didn't appear on the final bid from January 2022 (Page 9,section 1.2.4) www.westyorks-ca.gov.uk/media/8305/zebra-fbc-redacted.pdfthen the full ZEBRA announcement from March 2022 also doesn't include them: www.route-one.net/news/zebra-standard-track-198m-for-943-zero-emission-buses/'West Yorkshire Combined Authority: £23.1m towards 111 battery-electric buses. Of those, 47 will be double-deckers for Arriva Yorkshire, while First West Yorkshire and Transdev Blazefield will each receive 32 single-deckers. Those operators and WYCA will collectively provide £34.5m of funding towards the project' (this is before Arriva returned the Milton Keynes funding what went towards Bramleys Streetdecks)

Will there be any fleet upgrades occurring soon? It’s been a bit since a new bus arrived Well according to WYCA they were supposed to have been getting the Orion-Es from Flexibus as spares for Accessbus. They've been in the depot for months. It's looking like they might be scrapped as they can only do 50 miles range and that's with no heaters on

Flexibus would have been a disaster no matter what, or who was in office. I don't think she can be blamed at all for Flexibus.

As opposed to what? Having to pay for it without it happening? The vehicles were on order, First had a contract to operate it. She could have cancelled it, but would have got little to no money back - and WYCA may have had to pay instead of using the grant they got.

I've just seen (21:10) Sprinter RX24 THZ at the top of Horsforth Town Street.
I wonder what on earth it is doing up here at this time of day, or at all for that matter!
Have they won the 30 tender perhaps and are doing some nighttime route learning?
