Are TLC running the entire Bradford/Shipley minibus network from September? The Bradford local Tiger routes will be changing operator in September back to TLC There are two groups, the daytime 605, 606, 629, 649, 656, 660, 675, 678 & 679 routes and the evening/Sunday 630, 633, 634, 675, 677 & 680 buses.

Seen in Bradford today were E200 SN16ORL and Solo SR KY16PWD (fleet number 91038). Both in overall white with TLC branding, both presumably additional vehicles acquired for the ex Tiger routes.

Whats with the TLC 653. 1 return journey M-F leaving Bradford 0530 and returning 0616. Does anyone actually use this bus? Surely a proper hourly Otley - Bradford service is justified.

Justified, maybe. Profitable, nope.
They ran a more frequent 653 service until a couple of years ago, since then it's just been the early morning run to Pool and back which Metro subsidise.

They tried a few years ago to run it commercially, unfortunately despite passengers saying they would use it, passenger numbers were too low to continue running it.

Bus links from Bradford to Wharfedale all but ended thanks to the triple whammy of an improved rail service, increased car ownership, and Bradford’s declining importance as a regional hub. If you really need to get to Bradford from Otley you can get a bus to Menston and a train from there.

New arrival at TLC Mercedes Benz EVM Cityline Low Floor RO71 GZC fleet number 64525. It's in allover white, it Will be getting vinyls applied and ticket machine and put into service at Todmorden depot. 2 more arriving in March intended for the 205 service. Good to see actual new buses have arrived for TLC Travel.

The red Optare Solo SRs that are access bus are apparently going to get put into service they are 90955 to 90961 all built 2014-2015. A lot of vehicle seem to have arrived at TLC I think that some contract might be gained. Possible services could be some Halifax routes. First Halifax has been struggling running 539 and 587 so they might even give up the contracts. Also Team Pennine may never run the 531 again between Halifax and Highroadwell which could also be a possible route to run.
I might be getting carried away here though.

None of the Calderdale and Kirklees Accessbus Solos SRs are from 2015. All 2014 with the 14 regs entering service straight away in the spring for Calderdale and the 64 regs entered service with Tiger Blue in the September.

Also no need to be rude. they only get listed as they end up occasionally appearing on certain routes and that would only be if regular motors are having work done and the Accessbus workload is low

Look through this site fully, and you will see that CT Plus operate 539 & 587 on behalf of First Halifax, using First ticket machines and fares, with vehicles in CT Plus Ivy livery
