They were on display in Centenary Square. There didn't seem to be any staff present telling customers what they were seeing, unless they were on lunch

I would have thought the Green Line 645 would have got new buses instead of 681/682, 617/618. I'm not sure about X6 having just 6 buses - Would they not make it fully B9TL bus operated? Service such as the 15, 681/682, 617/618 should get the X6 geminis. The 645 is rumoured to be getting the '06 Gemini's that are presently in express livery once they have been repainted. As with everything that gets rumoured though I wouldn't treat it as gospel 'til it happens.

From a freind at Bradford : 37071-78 Red Line 640/1 37079-84 X6 37085-91 Routes 623-7 37092-95 Routes 681/2 37096-99 Routes 617/8 37100-02 Route 15 Didn't get 37067-70 but would imagine at least a couple will be 72. That's only a guess though. Although I was given this list in good faith from a contact at Bradford depot there are certain aspects that don't look right. For example looking at the timetable the 681/682 don't need 4 buses. The 4 for the 617/618 doesn't look right either. What really makes me suspicious though is that another website has a similar list but is also quoting 37067-37070 as going to be branded for the 711. Now come on, that only needs 2 buses and only runs 'til tea time using generally older vehicles so I certainly have my doubts about that one. Considering I was given this info on April 1st I'd treat it with caution until I can confirm that it's not an April fool joke! Wouldn't be the first time I've been given duff info by the good folk at Bradford, they once told me the entire single deck fleet was going to be replaced by Optare Solos and I almost put that into print although in that case I had my doubts right from the start. So, until the buses actually appear, don't treat the list as 100% accurate.

The part about the 15 getting new branded buses also seems a bit far fetched. Its not the most profitable of routes and usually gets any bus thats spare, usually the older the better...

Just read the comments that have been posted under the article about the new buses. From the looks of it, people are not fans of the ALX400s. I have to say though, some of the ALX400s suffer leakages when it rains and have pools of water on the destination box at the front upstairs!

The ALX400s have been in use in Bradford running to/from rough estates for the last 8 years, I imagine the interiors are a 'disgrace' due to 8 years of vandalism
