Brilliant thanks! With Metrolink no longer due to open through to Rochdale this year, I am planning to ride route 283 to Bradford on December 29th. This could be my second 62-reg bus ride in the country (my first being an E400 in London with London United in September).

Has anyone else noticed on these new buses that some of them now say 'Bus is Reversing' warnings when they reverse now? They must have got them working.

Has anyone noticed the giant (to me anyway) destination wording when intermediate points are not shown scrolling across under the destination?

1492 was in Service today so that means all of the Pulsars have arrived and are working.
Not sure what the current position is with 1464

It seems 2012 was one of the most prolific years for new buses for Arriva Yorkshire. Early in the year the Gemini integrals entered service. Then in the Autumn came the VDL-Pulsar 2s.
Probably not long until the Volvo B5LHs for Castleford arrive.

Wonder if the new hybrids for Cas will recieve names like the Tempo's did with the rugby league 'legends'? Also if anyone's got a pic of what the forthcoming hybrids will look like, and could post one, that'd be much appreciated. Ta!

If the forthcoming B5LH's have the Wright Gemini bodywork, then they'll be identical or at least very similar to First Leeds and Manchester examples. There are loads of photos of them on Flickr.

I think they might have gasket glasing and also will be built to low height. Oxford had such vehicles delivered as shown here. www.flickr.com/photos/matt_oxon/8329154631/

Its a Good thing wrightbus are making low height Gemini's for Volvo B5LH Chassis. Wonder if they'll do this for B9TL examples as well, and extended this beyond just the VDL Chassis.

Think the Low-Height body is now available with any chassis.

Livery is just like the one on the gas powered Caetano. But is better suited than the silver and magenta livery on First's hybrids which is a bit basic I think.

Wonder what fleet numbers they'll be allocated? My guess is it'll be 1700 to1711. Or maybe they'll surprise us and follow on from the Gemini's and give them 1549-1560.

These Hybrids having a big yellow front will be more reminiscent of the 1997-2009 corporate livery than current, formerly known as interurban or "cow horns", livery.

I notice that the Arriva fleetlist on the Dewsbury Bus Museum site has not been updated for almost a year now. Wonder what has happened there?

I'm sure Sconehead 85 will have a veiw 1700-1711, or possibly 2000-11, as they are hybrids. In my 5-digit scheme they would be 375xx (37xxx being Volvo B5LH, the first half being London HV class). sconehead85
