Hello and welcome. On here you can add your best bus memory. e.g. When I was a child I used to go to Todmorden with my Grandma (still do ), I used to go from Halifax Bus Station to Tod's and when we used to come back it was dark and cold. I remember being able to see the destination sign through the Volvo/Leyland Olympian Panel Gap on the top deck at the front. Think they were one of th F***XYG Or L***PWR ones

I remember as a kid being taken to Lightwater Valley on the X99 from Shipley.
On the way back, the bus broke down (WYRCC ECW/Olympian) and they sent another one out to get us home and i cried all the way home cos they sent one that sounded funny!
Looking back, the replacement must have been a voith gearbox version (FUMxxxY batch) which in later life i grew to love.

Didnt go on many distant bus journeys as a child. Yorkshire Rider Memories remember going on a Leeds Atlantean on the 56/57 along York Road MCW metrobus on the 98/99, Roseville Road- Wetherby Road (Was a Late Night, then) London ones stick in my mind too London and Country Volvo Citybuses on 176, and 85 Routemasters and Titans on 36 And Titans and Olympians on P3, now a days the 343.
