has anyone else noticed that since Arriva Yorkshire fares went up earlier this month, the sticker advertising the £3.50 day ticket above the destination blinds on lowlanders has only had the price taken off it. are they planning on putting the new price on?

indeed, looks a right mess. I expect we will see the same with First buses soon with buses running around with "FirstDay £ . " for weeks

Saw a First Volvo Olympian Alexander Royale today with the FirstDay sticker on the side, with the price missing!

This always happens after a price change, and quite often buses run around with the 'gap' for ages.

The lowlanders have now recieved new price stickers and the main sticker above the destination blind has had the new day ticket price £3.80 added to it.

Like many other posts on here, I think its a game of 'fill in the blanks' to help it make sense.

One of the Lowlanders has had part of it's branding removed. I spotted it yesterday evening and the red semi-circle on the rear of the upper-deck was missing, with a big patch where it had been. Not sure why though.

The bus in question is 1611 and looks a mess. Arriva just do not seem to care; look at 186, the maroon Dennis Dart with its offside rear quarter now in cream.

I'm sure their must be a purpose for this, but then again this is Arriva! I've noticed that after 2 years the branding is looking a bit faded on the Lowlanders, or maybe they've done it to match the new B9TL branding at Wakefield, which only carries one sticker on the side.

1605, 1607 and 1603 have all now been so treated, but the latter has also lost its route branding at the rear - only it looks a total mess as they have not only peeled off the transfers, but half of the paintwork too!!!!!

One of the Lowlanders has had a replacement sticker on the side, but still a mess at the back.

It looks like they've given most of the Lowlanders a freshen up, seen a few with the wheels freshly painted, as well as the rear of the bus been smartened up where the branding has been removed.

It looks like the motive in removing the semicircles on the back of the Lowlanders was so full rear adverts could be applied to them.
I noted a Lowlander which had a full read advert today.

Arriva cheapening their own recent route branding? Surely not?
(Anyone who knew me could think I had it in for Arriva...)

I am told 1607, 1610 and 1612 now carry rear end adertisements for Auto Windscreens. I have yet to see them, but does anyone know how many buses have been defaced (or in this case - dereared?) in this manner?
