Passengers spent the night in a local hotel after their Boeing 757 made an emergency landing at LBIA The Jet2 service operated by Air Finland was enroute to Faro Portugal on Sunday night when smoke entered the cabin during food preparation. Passengers disembarked safely but had to stay overnight because Faro airport had closed. The fight eventually took off on Monday at 9:00 am A spokeswoman said the plane returned as a precaution "Jet2,com would like to apoligise to passengers for the inconvenience caused"
