This is the second of three programmes (the others are about a paramedic and a midwife) and features a London bus driver tackling the routes in Manilla, Philippines, said to be the most densely populated city in the world. It's on BBC2 at 9 p.m. tonight.
The first one, about a Welsh paramedic sent to Guatemala was good and featured a fair number of buses (mostly USA type school buses).

Contridiction in terms, using a London Bus driver, you would be hard pressed to find a London Bus driver who could handle a crash box round Halifax without power steering.

Should have sent him to India like History Channel did with the Ice Road Truckers

I wonder if Boris would like to test a few Jeepnies in London, it put a whole new slant on one person operated.
I also wonder how many WY passengers would offer their fare under similar circumstances.

You'd struggle to find a bus driver that is used to using a clutch on any bus these days.

Halifax is a hard place especially up Hubberton & Booth/Midgley where the buses struggle round tight bends & thin roads.
