I am going to start filming DVD's, they will be professionally done with camcorder & tripod, they will all be 1 hour & 10 per DVD & i will try to get to many towns as possible when I have time. I am going to Wakefield & Castleford tommorow.
What I need to ask is would anyone consider buying one if i was to put them up for sale at £5.00?

I hope you'll be declaring this income and will be registering as self employed.

Also, think of the increase in rates you will have to pay at home if you're running a business from the property?

Also, think of the increase in rates you will have to pay at home if you're running a business from the property? Yup. In summary you will: A) Have to register as self employed B) Declare all income & bank interest C) Pay tax @ 20% on all self employment income above the LEL D) Fill in a tax return (D.1) Possibly by an accountant if you're strugging which isn't cheap! E) Notify your local council you're running a business from your property F) Pay increased rates G) Make a profit. If you're selling on eBay and its things like these DVDs you plan on making, you will need to be registered as a self employed trader. If you're selling items you've used & possessed personally, you dont.
