Thanks for posting this, nice to see one of these beasties again. its quite possible this vehicle saw a lot of action in west yorks. If it was a Barnsley based one, it will have been on the much lamented 235/6 Barnsley to Huddersfield service and also on the Barnsley to Wakefield services.

Didn"t these Buses used to worked a lot into Leeds on the 446 and X32 I seen to remember them in Leeds bus station in the 1990s. One of them was painted in White Rose Express Livery( think it was 705). They were also seen in Bradford on the X33.
I once travelled on one of them back in 1992 on a rail replacement service between Halifax and Hebden Bridge. My only on a mark2 Metrobus
As this batch were the only Metrobuses built to lowheight form one surely needs preserving

With the exception of 707-709 which spent a lot of the time at Waterloo the others were based most of the time at Upper Sheffield Rd. For the record it was 707 which was painted in the old County Motors Livery

this metrobus was used by an extras agency based in Leeds.
